“I'm talking. I'm listening. I'm communicating” – Interregional Olympiad on the development of hearing and speech among students of general education organizations, implementing general education programs for children with hearing impairments. Organizers of the Olympiad – state budgetary educational institution of the Sverdlovsk region, “Center for Psychological, Medical and Social Support “Echo” and the Department of Inclusive Education and Deaf Pedagogy of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Moscow State Pedagogical University” with the support of the Regional Resource Center for the Development of an Accessible Educational Environment in the Education System of the Sverdlovsk Region. The goal of the Olympiad is to activate verbal speech among students with hearing impairments, skills to engage in oral communication as a condition for their full personal development.
At the end of this school year, primary school students tried themselves for the first time as participants in this Olympiad. It was conducted remotely online in the presence of jury members from among the boarding school teachers. Competition assignments were developed by a methodological commission taking into account the requirements of the programs and the age of students. At the end of the competition, the completion of the tasks was assessed by members of the boarding school jury, as well as those appointed by the administration of the Echo Center.
Based on the results of the Olympiad, the winners and runners-up in each subgroup were determined by calculating the points scored. Sorry, this year the boarding school was not included in their number. Despite this, the guys adequately represented our institution at the competition, for which they were awarded certificates of participation.
Best of luck next year!
