
5 November at a boarding school with the aim of increasing the level of professional competence of teachers through mastering and understanding the scientific, methodological and psychological principles of organizing control and evaluation activities, took pedagogical council по теме “Organization of control and evaluation activities of teachers and students as one of the conditions for the successful implementation of a competency-based approach to teaching”.
During practical work in groups, those gathered updated their knowledge of didactic and psychological requirements for organizing control and assessment activities, revealed the place of assessment in the modern educational process as a way to determine the degree of implementation of educational goals and achievement of planned learning outcomes, analyzed the effectiveness of training and the use by teachers of methods and techniques for organizing control and assessment in ungraded training and a 10-point system for assessing students’ knowledge and skills, and also developed ways to successfully implement methods for organizing control and evaluation activities of teachers during classes.
