For the purpose of moral and aesthetic education, boarding school students visited an incredibly beautiful palace in the agricultural town of Zhilichi, Kirov district, Mogilev region.
It is located in the depths of the park with an area of about 18 hectares, away from residential buildings, but you definitely won’t pass by - the building amazes with its size. This is the Bulgakov Palace. That's what they call a manor house, which landowner Ignatius Bulgak began to build in 1825 year.
The excursion participants were most impressed by the scale of the residence and the interior decoration: ornaments and moldings on ceilings, gilding, sculptural plastic, parquet made of different types of wood, coffered ceilings, paintings, expensive furniture, grand staircases, orchestral balconies.
The Zhilich palace and park ensemble today is a monument of history and culture of the 19th century – XX в.в.
