Parent University

The purpose of the parent university - Improving the pedagogical and psychological culture of parents, Formation of the responsible, positive parenthood. The University of Pedagogical Knowledge for parents should help establish the contacts of parents with the school, the interaction of parents and teachers in education, development and socialization of the child.
The main tasks of the parent university:
Formation of the value-semantic foundations of parenthood, Actualization of a sense of responsibility for the performance of parental functions;
Formation and development of psychological and pedagogical competencies of parents in the field of family education (Formation of knowledge about family psychology, children's relations, age characteristics of children, Formation of harmonious family relationships, Constructive interaction skills with children, etc.), promoting the development of parents self -education skills;
ensuring targeted work on the prevention of family dysfunction and social orphanage, reducing the risk of conflict situations and crisis conditions, difficulties in family education, Providing timely psychological, pedagogical and information assistance to families, in a difficult life situation;
Organization of effective cooperation and partnership of parents of students and educational institutions, etc..

Target group - Parents (законные представители) students.

Directions of the work of the parent university:

I. Organizational:
Formation of full -time and distance learning at the University of Parents;
Placement of information on the website of education institutions of information about the organization of the work of the parent university;
Creation in popular social networks («Viber», «Telegram») Internet resources to post information about the activities of the parent university (The announcement of the upcoming meetings, News about past meetings, Materials of educational nature for parents, etc.).

II. Information and educational:
Presentation of the content of the program and events of the parent university;
Organization of psychological and pedagogical education of parents on various aspects of family education:
legal: About opportunities, rights and obligations in the implementation of the educational needs of the family;
Psychological and pedagogical: About methods and forms of education, teaching a child;
Consulting parents on legal, psychological, pedagogical and other problems.

III. Following:
Scientific and methodological support of the formation of psychological and pedagogical competence of parents in the field of education and development of children, taking into account sociocultural traditions, modern problems and features of society;
expansion of the educational and creative potential of parents and family in general.

The educational activities of the parent university are built:
on parents assessing their own life experience;
on the acquisition of new knowledge in support on its own internal reserves;
on stable communication of children and their parents;
on self -improvement of parents through their awareness of an individual view of a child;
on the development of creative abilities of family members;
on the ability to see difficulties and look for ways to overcome them, Build a staircase of success.

The work of the parent university is organized taking into account the laws of development of the child at different age periods Three steps:
I step - "My child is a younger schoolboy" - for parents of students of grades I-V.
II step - "my child is a teenager" - for parents of students of VI-X classes.
III step - "My child is a high school student" - for parents of the XI-XII students.

The proposed areas will contribute to the inclusion of parents in active cooperation with the school in solving the problems of family education. Организация взаимодействия с родителями учащихся в рамках Родительского университета позволит объединить усилия родителей, Educators, педагогов-психологов, педагогов социальных и других специалистов по организации конструктивного диалога в поиске ответов на актуальные вопросы семейного воспитания.

Формы проведения занятий:
традиционные (Lectures, Conversations, conference, круглые столы, дискуссии, семинары-практикумы, мастер-классы, психологические тренинги, индивидуальные беседы и консультации, опросы родителей по различной тематике, обмен опытом работы и т.д.);
дистанционные (вебинары, on-line консультации, размещение информации по актуальным вопросам семейного воспитания на интернет-сайте школы, участие в создании рекламных буклетов, листовок, оформление стендов, анкетирование родителей, привлечение родителей к участию в тематических выставках и других мероприятиях).

Ожидаемые результаты работы Родительского университета:

  • формирование у родителей осознанного отношения к родительству, повышение интереса родителей к самообразованию;
  • удовлетворение потребности семьи учащегося в образовательных услугах, в обучении, психолого-педагогической поддержке;
  • повышение уровня педагогической культуры родителей;
  • активизация родителей в решении семейных проблем, сокращение числа неблагополучных семей, случаев семейного насилия, уменьшение числа подростков с девиантным поведением;
  • развитие взаимопонимания, сотрудничества семьи и учреждения образования;
  • охват родительским всеобучем большинства родителей учащихся, благодаря системе дистанционного обучения.

Занятия Родительского университета предполагается проводить один раз в месяц. Консультации для родителей проводятся в соответствии с планом работы (приложение 1). Тематика занятий и консультаций с родителями построена с учётом возрастных психологических особенностей учащихся.
